About Me
Hello! I’m Frances and I am the founder of From Birth To Breast LLC and the Braless and Barefoot blog. I am a Certified Breastfeeding Counselor (CBC), Certified Childbirth Educator (CCE), and DONA trained Postpartum Doula (PCD-DONA) that serves the Spokane County and surrounding areas locally. I also offer online courses and virtual services throughout the United States as well. In my free time I love to read, bake, play video games and make ceramics.
Experience
My journey into this work began after I faced my own challenges with breastfeeding my first two children. Those experiences gave me a deep understanding of how hard and how rewarding the journey can be. After the birth of my third child in 2022, I felt called to turn that passion into purpose by studying lactation and starting my breastfeeding counseling practice. Within a few months, my heart led me to expand my care even further, becoming a childbirth educator, birth doula, and postpartum doula so I could support families through pregnancy, birth, and beyond. With a background as a certified medical assistant and BLS provider, I bring both professional experience and heartfelt compassion to every family I work with.
Values
I approach maternal care with a “mom first” mindset. It doesn’t matter who you are, where you’re from, what your age, nationality, beliefs or background is: I will nurture and support you first! I am truly grateful for every family that invites me to help them grow, and should you invite me to be a part of your story, it would be an honor and a privilege to serve you.
Goals
I began teaching childbirth, lactation, and postpartum education with the goal to help families overcome the uncertainty of parenthood and go on to have more positive and affirming experiences. My goal is to help empower and educate growing families – while helping women step into motherhood with confidence.
